Willa Moore Martin, elder daughter of Alva and Ada White Myers, was born Oct. 23, 1887 near Bonaparte, Iowa and passed away at Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua, Nov. 19, 1958 at the age of 71 years, 27 days. Her entire life has been spent in this vacinity.

On Dec. 22, 1920 she was united in marriage to John S. Moore. To them was born one son, Joseph Alva. Mr. Moore passed away Jan 15, 1927.

On Aug. 7, 1929 she was married to Goerge Martin. He departed this life July 14, 1946. They had one daughter, Josephine.

Mrs. Martin had been in ill health the last 6 years but she became critically ill on Oct 18 and was taken to Memorial Hospital where she gradually became worse and passed away there at 10:05 a. m. on Nov. 19.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husbands and son Joseph Alva. Joe was taken away from her very suddenly, May 15, 1949 and she had never been able to overcome the grief and shock of his death.

She is survived by one daughter, Josephine Lunsford, Bonaparte; one sister, Mrs. Trilla Cass, Bonaparte; four grandchildren, Joseph William, Ernest Dale, Wendell Lee and Nancy Lynn Lunsford; two nephews John and Alva Cass, also of Bonaparte.

Funeral services were held at the home of her sister, Mrs. Trilla Cass, this being the home where Mrs. Martin was born. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
