Mrs. Ada Myers
Ada White, daughter of James and Jane Spurgeon White, was born on a farm near Fammington, October 2, 1867, and grew to womanhood near where she was born.
On February 4, 1886, she was married to Alva Myers of Farmington. In 1887 she went to housekeeping in the home on the Bonaprte-Farmington township line where they lived for fifty-one years. To this union were born two daughters, Willa Martin of Bonaparte and Trilla Cass at home who with their father, survive her passing.
Others who survive are four grandchildren, four brothers, Sam, Joe, George and John White all of Farmington; two sisters, Mrs. Cena Bracey, Farmington and Mrs. Maggie Weiher of Ewing, MO. She was proceeded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services were held at the home, Thursday, Sept. 1, in charge of the Rev. L.E. Winfrey of Bonaparte. Interment was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
Note: Ada White died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geroge Martin on August 29, 1938 at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 27 days. Ada White is my great grandmother.
