Clarence S. "Bud" Zachau, 93, of Cantril was found dead at his home, Tuesday, March 24,1998. Time of death was estimated Monday morning. He was born April 21,1904, near Keosauqua to William and Emma Heath Zachau. He was single and had worked as a farm hand and did yard work, odd jobs and mechanical work in Cantril. Surviving are nieces and nephews, Ruth Creath and Ruth Manning of Cantril and Gene Griffiths of State Center. Funeral services were held March 26, at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Burial was in Center Chapel Cemetery, southeast of Keosauqua.
