Thelma M. Black, daughter of John and Mary Cramer, was born March 19,1906 at Charles City, Ia and departed this life June 16,1987 at Phelps, Ky. She grew up in Charles City. She married Ross Black of Milton, and lived most of her life in Van Buren county and had lived the last two years in Freeburn, Ky. Mr. Black died in 1973. Two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, Raymond, Frisco, NC, James of Birmingham, and Ronald, Freeburn, Ky; three daughters, Marjorie McClellan, Norwood, Mo, Mary Adams, Mt. Vernon, Mo and Dorothy Cliff, Carson City, Nv; 14 grandchildren and 14 great geandchildren. Graveside services were held June 21,1987 in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton.
