Ernest Craig Roberts,49, was found dead in his home in Denver,Co, March 13. The son of Roy and Lottie McElroy Roberts, he was born near Cantril, Dec. 20,1915. He attended schools in Van Buren Co. and graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1932. He served in the Army during World War II and since his discharge had lived in Denver. He is survived by four children, his father, Roy Roberts of Winfield; one sister Lucille of Middletown; and three brothers Bryant of Winfield, Bill of Wellman, and Roy of Midpines, Ca. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held March 17 in Milton. Burial was in Maple grove Cemetery at Cantril.
