DORSEY BISHOP

Des Moines - Dorsey Carrel BISHOP, 74, of 2121 E. 29th St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill. The body has been donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. BISHOP was born in Libertyville and had lived in Des Moines since 1946. He was a retired barber at Dorsey's Barber Shop and a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a stepson, Bill PATERSON of Des Moines; two step-daughters, Joan O'BOYLE of Pleasant Hill and Sue PATERSON-NIELSEN of Des Moines; two brothers, Louis Sr. of Ottumwa and William of Muscatine; 13 stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society. Hamilton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
