ANNA MCWILLIAMS

OTTUMWA - Anna Laura MCWILLIAMS, 79, of 507 Appanoose, died at 11:25 a. m. May 10, 1996, at her home.

She was born May 24, 1916, southwest of Birmingham to Charles and Ella HAWBAKER BISHOP. She married John MCWILLIAMS Sept 27, 1937, in Bosworth, Mo.

She was a graduate of Douds High School and was affiliated with the Methodist Church in Birmingham.

She is survived by her husband; three sons, John MCWILLIAMS Jr. of Fredricksburg, Va., and William and Charles MCWILLIAMS, both of Ottumwa; four daughters, Penny HANCOCK of Redwood City, Calif., Jennie GODKIN of Beaumont, Texas, Bonnie OSBORNE of Clinton and Lilly IRWIN of Ottumwa; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three brothers, Lewis BISHOP of Ottumwa, Dorsey BISHOP of Des Moines and William BISHOP of Muscatine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Diana and a brother, Harold BISHOP.

The service will be 1 p. m. Monday at Faith Chapel of the Open Bible Church, the Rev. David GRANDON officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 9 a. m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home with family present from 3 to 6 p. m.

A memorial fund has been established.
