Charley L. BISHOP
Charley L. BISHOP, 85, died at 7:45 a. m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. H. MCWILLIAMS of 304 W. Williams St.
The son of William L. and Alvira A. HOPKINS BISHOP, he was born Aug. 27, 1881, at Fairfield. A resident of Ottumwa since 1942, he was a retired employee of John Morrell & Co. He married Ella A. HAWBAKER on Nov. 22, 1915, at Fairfield. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Anna MCWILLIAMS of Ottumwa; four sons, Louis BISHOP of Agency, Dorsey and Harold BISHOP of Des Moines, and William BISHOP of West Liberty; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two half sisters, Erma HERTEL of Burlington and Elsie SLOAN of Eldon.
The service will be Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul BEAVER of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
