Mrs. Nancy Rabb at home of son in law, Bonaparte, Joseph W. Whitely, died November 9th in 83rd year. Born in Fayette County, Pennsylvania October 21, 1799. Moved to Warren Co. Ohio when a child and married at 19 to William Johnson in Ohio. After ten years moved to Fountain County, Indiana and stayed seven years. Moved to Van Buren County in 1837. He died September 23, 1845 leaving 5 girls and 5 boys. In spring of 1849 married Joseph Rabb who died June 1866. Nine children survive, W. J. Johnson, T. B. Johnson, Mrs. Thomas Christy, Mrs. J. W. Whitely, Joseph A. Johnson, J. C. Johnson, O. H. P. Johnson, Mrs. Willits, Mrs. George.
