Norma L. Ramsey, daughter of Elza and Isabel Ewing Loeffler was born June 5,1935 at Mt. Zion and died Friday evening, May 19,1989 at the University Hospital, Iowa City, at the age of 53. She grew up near Birmingham and graduated from Birmingham High School in 1954. Norma married Robert Ramsey, Dec.18,1958, at the Douds Bible Church. Surviving are her husband, a son, Mark, of Bonaparte, a daughter, Diana Gaskell, Keosauqua, three granddaughters, Emily Ann Ramsey, Holly Jo and Beth Marie Gaskell, a sister, Janet Smith and a brother Gary, both of Birmingham, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held May 22,1989, at the Zion Bible Church, near Douds and interment was in Kilbourne Cemetery.
