Daviv Kent Simmons, 35, Farmington, died of carbon monoxide poisoning, Saturday evening at his home.He was born May 4,1951, in Keokuk and was a lifelong resident of Farmington. He was employed by Mt. Hamill Elevator as a truck driver, and was a member of the Farmington Methodist Church, Auctioneers of Farmington and the Rod and Gun Club. On Oct. 28,1978, in Bonaparte, he married Cindy Miller, who survives. Also surviving are a son Chad,7, and a daughter, Amy Jo,5, both at home, and a sister Mrs. Richard (Sheri) Lowery, Farmington. He was preceded in death by a brother and his parents Elvin and Eleanor Kincaid Simmons. Final rites will be Dec. 18,1986 at the Hofbauer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery at Farmington.
