Emily M. Robbins

Emily Jane Miller Miller was born June 24, 1855 near Bentonsport, Iowa, and died April 29, 1906, aged 50 years, 10 months, and 5 days.

She was married to Mr. Archer Robbins September 21, 1876, and to them were born, six children, three sons and three daughters, all of whom are living and w[ho were prese]nt at the funeral. They *********** Lewis, Flora Alice, Jes************** Tipton, Cora May, and **************.

Her father, **************, Bonaparte, her br************* *********er, and her sister, M***********Wilhelm were also presen[t at the fune]ral.

She was baptis[ed] *********lay Pearson in the fall of 189* *** under this man's labors she made a profession of religion. Her mother preceded her in death about twelve years ago.

Having lived in this immediate neighborhood she has had a large range of acquaintance both among those preceding her in death and many yet living here, as well as those who have lived here and gone to other places. Her death will be a great loss to her family and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home not far from Bonaparte, and were conducted by Rev. When of the M. E. church.
