Larry Eugene Anderson, age 63, of rural Philadelphia, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 at his home.

Born in Stockport, Iowa on July 22, l943, he was the son of Wendell Lavern "Burky" Anderson and Julia V. Heston Anderson

Larry was a graduate of Stockport, Iowa, High School and for over 20 years was a Technical Supervisor for I.B.M. Corporation and later was a Computer Technician with Halifax Corp. A hundred percent cowboy, he was a member of the Deer Ridge Saddle Club and enjoyed hunting wildlife and stockcar racing.

He is survived by his mother, Julia Anderson of Stockport, Iowa, one son, Richard Rhoades and wife Beverly of Ault, Colorado, two daughters, Tonya Austin and husband Kile of Lewistown, Missouri, Lisa Gilliam and husband Tom of Mahomet, Illinois, two brothers, Steve Anderson and wife Mary Ann of Donnellson, Iowa, Richard Anderson and wife Jane of Birmingam, Iowa, two sisters, Carolyn Walters and husband Vince of Des Moines, Iowa and Julie Graf of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Matt Gordon, Andrew Gordon, Skylar Rhoades, Tisha Richmond, Hunter Rhoades, Lakaylee Austin, Tessa Richmond, Brianna Rhoades and a special friend Diane Brumbaugh of LaBelle, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wendell "Burky" Anderson.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 2 P.M. at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Interment was at the Midway Cemetery north of Lewistown, Missouri.
