Nancy Jean Workman Heisel, 66, of Boone formerly of Cantril, died at 5:11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 25, 2002,at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport

There will be no family visitation. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 8 p.m., Thursday.

Memorials may be made according to the donor's choice.

Ms. Heisel was born March 7, l936, in Fairfield, the daughter of Lloyd and Maynie Brickey Workman. She married Allen Heisel. They are divorced.

She was a 1954 graduate of Stockport High School. She was a homemaker and had farmed in the Cantril area.

Survivors include her mother, Maynie Workman of Keosauqua; one son, Kelly Heisel and his wife Donna of Cantril; three daughters, Susan Hamburg and her husband Jim of Cantril, Mary Whitacre and her friend Tim of Boone, and Cindy Larue and her husband Chad of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Workman.
