KEOSAUQUA.--Mrs. Henrietta McBeth, 86, of Keosauqua died today about 5:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Hospital at Ottumwa. She had been in failing health for some time and had entered the hospital Monday.

She was born May 11, 1875, at Keosauqua, the daughter of Rutledge and Victoria Henry Lea. She was married May 23, 1900, to Robert R. McBeth of Keosauqua. He died July 23, 1954.

She was a member of the Congregational Church and of Chapter I, PEO.

She was also preceded in death by one son in infancy and two daughters. Mrs. Jo. S. Stong and Mrs. Hollis Arnold of Keosauqua and Mrs. Josephine Bell of Cedar Rapids are nieces.

The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Burnett-Catcott Funeral Home. The Rev. R. M. Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery.
