In Bonaparte, Iowa, Thursday, September 3, 1891, Lulu Vesta, infant daughter of Wm. And Johana Perkins, age 13 months and 28 days. The funeral services were held at the residence Friday afternoon by Rev. L. M. Scroggs, when the little one was laid to rest in the new cemetery.
Lulu was a sweet babe, and like a tender plant was too delicate to endure the frosts of this unkindly world and so the good Master took her to Himself to bloom forever in his paradise above. The Savior said, “Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.”
