EDWARD JOSEPH CHENEY

Edward Joseph Cheney was born in Keosauqua, Iowa on June 29, 1881 and died at Greenwich, Conn. on Jan. 8, 1963. He was the son of Rev. Joseph Warren and Lavinia Rachel Cheney. He was graduated from Keosauqua High School in 1898 and later from the University of Minnesota. He was an electrical engineer and his professional life was spent in New York State.

He was a member of the Congregational Church and for some years was active on the YMCA Board of White Plains, New York.

Mr. Cheney married Lillian Mead in 1907 and after her death in 1939 made his home with his only
daughter, Eloise Cheney Fetherolf. He is survived by his daughter, her husband, James M. Fetherolf, their two children, Edward and Martha and a sister, Alice Cheney of Pasadena, Calif.
