Beldazzar Nauman was born in Germany, January 20th, 1834 and died at St. Louis, Mo., March 24th, 1908, being 74 years, 2 months and 4 days old.

He was married in Germany in 1857 to Mary Elizabeth Manzel, who preceded him in death eight years. To this union eleven children were born, ten of whom are still living. One son and two daughters reside in Germany. Mr. Nauman was connected with the German Lutheran from childhood.

Four sisters, two of whom are living in Germany, one in Australia and one in Farmington, this state, ten children and twenty-three grandchildren survive him.

The funeral services were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emil Noske on Thursday, April 2 at 2 p.m. The sermon was preached by A. Trenerry of the Baptist church. The remains were laid to rest in the Bonaparte cemetery.
