Nina Edith McMican, 90, of Pallisade, Colo., died Sunday, March 25, at 4:04 p.m., at Grand Junction, Colo.

Born July 2, 1888, at Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of George and Phoebe Hanger Higginson.

She married the Rev. Claude McMican on June 1, 1915 at Des Moines. She spent most of her life in Iowa and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in 1973. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three sons, Paul of Grand Junction, Colorado, the Rev. George B. of Flint, Mich., and Robert of Rockville, Md.; one step-brother, Ed Ferguson of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m., in the Presbyterian Church in Bonaparte with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial will be in the Bonaparte cemetery. Friends may call at the Carl Wilson Home in Bonaparte after noon on Thursday. The Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, is in charge of arrangements.
