William F. Kerr

William F. Kerr, 45, of Bonaparte, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1977 at 7 a.m., at his home near Bonaparte.

He was born Sept. 7, 1931 at Christianburg, Ohio the son of William R. and Dorothy F. Westfall Kerr.

He married Dorothy Dodds in April of 1950 at Fairfield. He later married Alice Rudy on July 6, 1975.

A resident of Bonaparte since 1945, he was a printer. He was formerly in partnership with his father in the operation of the Record-Republican newspaper at Bonaparte.

He was a member of the Bonaparte Baptist church and the Farmington Rod and Gun Club.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. William R. Kerr of Kahoka, Mo.; one son, William M. Kerr of Bonaparte; four daughters; Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Shark, Mrs. Lloyd (Linda) Kite, Susan Kerr, all of Bonaparte, and Sherri Ann Kerr of West Point; one sister, Mrs. E.R. (Pat) Johnston of Fremont; three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The funeral service for William F. Kerr was held Friday, Aug. 12 at 2 p.m., in the Bonaparte Baptist Church with the pastor Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery. Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
