Funeral service for Mrs. Kirk Meek, 94, Keokuk, who died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1960 in Graham hospital, were held Thursday, Feb. 4 at 1:30 p.m., in DeJong's Funeral Home at Keokuk with the Rev. Bliss B. Cartwright, Jr. officiating.

Burial was in the family lot of the Bonaparte cemetery.

Mrs. Meek had been ill only since Sunday morning.
Born December 8, 1865 in Trenton, N.J., Agnes Bell was the daughter of Thomas and Barbara Gibson Marshall. She went to Keokuk in 1937 from Bonaparte after the death of her husband March 17, 1937.

They were married in Bonaparte June 24, 1886.

In Bonaparte she was a member of the Presbyterian church, Chapter AB, P.E.O., the Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary. In Keokuk she was a member of the Grace Goddard circle of King's Daughters and the Chapel Fund of the Westminister church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edith M. Baker of Keokuk; three grandchildren, Kirk M. Baker of Keokuk, Deane Meek of Bonaparte and Mrs. Edith Johnson of Alpha, Ill.; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel Kirk, a son, Kirk Marshall Meek, four sisters and a grandson, Marshall C. Baker.
