A Mass of Christian burial for Verlee Morris, 78, of Hannibal, Mo will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal. The Rev. Mark Porterfield will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris died at 6:47 p.m Feb 8, 1995 at Willow Care Center in Hannibal.
She was born March 27, 1916, in Cantril, Iowa to Lee and Lillian McGowan McManis.

She married on July 18, 1936, in Hannibal, to Kenneth Morris. He died April 7, 1979.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Pickett, New London, Mo, three sons, James Morris of Tacoma, Wash, Tom Morris of Sikeston, Mo and John Morris of Hannibal; one step-sister, Dorothy Roberts of Milton, Iowa, one half-sister, Vada Younkers of Independence, Iowa; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
