Robert Merle Nelson,born 26 March 1932 in Stockport, Iowa,
passed away on 25 May 2008 in Ocoee, Florida. With him at
the time of his passing were his sons Douglas, Dennis and
Joel, along with granddaughter Krista (CPL USMC).
Bob graduated from Stockport High School in 1950. He was
married to Norma Ruth Brown in 1950 and from that union came
Douglas, David, Dennis, Ross and Joel. Two sons, Ross and
David preceded their father in death. Norma and Bob divorces
in 1973. Bob married Imogene Boone in 1973. There were no
children from from this marriage. Imogene passed away 1987.
Bob met and married Deannie McMahan in 1987.

Bob and Norma lived in Birmigham, Iowa between 1950 and 1951
while Bob worked as a welder in Keosauqua, Iowa. They moved
to Burlington, Iowa in 1952, Where Bob worked as a switchman,
assembler and draftsman. Bob and Norma moved to Muscatine, Iowa in
1957 where Bob worked as a draftsman until 1969. In 1969 Bob and
Norma moved to Burlington where Bob worked as a designer/draftsman
till 1982. Bob moved to Orlando, Florida where he worked as a
drafting supervisor till 1992. Bob worked the remainder of his
life as a consulting draftsman.
