Donald E. Huffman, son of Wilbert and Lucille Roberts Huffman, was born Sept. 20,1931, in Keosauqua and departed this life Sunday Dec. 13,1981 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua, at the age of 50. He served in the Air Force from 1950 until 1961, including 18 months in Korea. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Keosauqua. Remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Lucille Schenk of Keosauqua, two daughters, Vicki Curtis and Brenda Abbott, both of Carbondale,IL, a sister, Betty Arnold of Keosauqua,four brothers, Jack in Florida, Jerry in Chicago, and Jim and Joe, both of Keosauqua, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 15,1981 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery.
