GLENN MARTIN

Glenn Wm. Martin, 78, of Farmington, died Saturday, June 27, in Overlake Hospital at Bellview, Washington.

He was born October 13, 1919 at Farmington to Oka and Mattie Grelk Martin. He married Anna Grisweld on December 28, 1941 at Keokuk. He lived 52 years on the same farm and was a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, rural Farmington, and the American Legion in Farmington. He served as a volunteer for 35 years on the Farmington Fire Department and was an army veteran of World War II in the 34th Division.

He is survived by his wife of Farmington, three sons, Ronald of Omaha, Nebr., Mickey of Farmington, and David of Issaquah, Washington; three grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Roth of Farmington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

Services were held on Thursday, July 2, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Sharon Presbyterian Church with Robert Hambright officiating. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery.

Memorials to the Farmington EMT's may be left at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington.
