Mrs. Stella Woods Bennett, 84, of Farmington died Friday, June 29, 1962 at 4:30 p.m. in her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 4, 1877 near Bonaparte the daughter of Pierce and Elma Davidson Bradford. She was a resident of Farmington for 18 years after moving from southwest of Bonaparte.

She married Albert C. Woods March 23, 1898. He died July 2, 1937. On Nov. 14, 1945 she married Jacob Bennett. He died Jan. 13, 1954.

Surviving are a step-son, Howard Bennett, Montrose; a step-daughter, Mrs. John Pfeifer of Bonaparte; a brother, Bruce Bradford of Farmington; and several cousins.

One sister preceded her in death as an infant.

Funeral service was held Monday, July 2 at 2 p.m., from Miller's Home for Funerals, Farmington with Rev. Eugene Shipp, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Bonaparte Cemetery.
