Harry Boyer, son of Thomas Wesley and Nancy Ann Boyer was born Feb. 18, 1873 in Bonaparte, Iowa. He was educated in the Bonaparte school. During his early manhood he traveled for the Meek Bros. Mills and later assisted his father in a general merchandise business. Afterward he engaged in the business of farming near Anson, Mo., where he remained until his recent illness. He passed away on Sept. 30, 1952 at the Laughlin hospital in Kirksville, Mo.
He leaves to mourn their loss his sister, Georgia B. Meek, Bonaparte, and his niece, Helen B. Schneider, Crystal Lake, Ill., and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Stutsman Home at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3 with the Rev. Trenerry officiating. Interment in the family lot in the Bonaparte cemetery.
