Wilma Dick, 96, of Des Moines died January 28, 1998 of gastro intestinal problems.

She was born May 19, 1901 in Keosauqua to William and Anna Beard Dick. She lived in Bonaparte from 1901-1927.

Miss Dick retired in 1966 from the Des Moines Public Schools after teaching social sciences for 39 years. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Des Moines.

A nephew, William Hornbaker of Knoxville, Tennessee, survives.

Graveside services were held January 30, 1998 at the Bonaparte Cemetery with burial there.
Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Acres, 3520 Grand Avenue, Des Moines.

Dunn's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
