Norma Bell, 76, of Center Point, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, in Crestview Acres Care Center, Marion, following a long illness.

She was born December 29, 1920, the daughter of Craig and Crystal Miller Fritsinger, Bonaparte. She married Robert Bell on March 24, 1936 in Memphis, Missour. He died in 1989.

She worked for Fairfield Glove Factory at Bonaparte, retiring in 1989. Norma was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and was a Kiwanis leader.

Surviving are four children, Jerry Bell of Las Vegas, Nevada, Larry Bell of Orangedale, California, Arlene Berry of Cedar Rapids and Garry Bell of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Fritsinger and Donna June Hornbaker.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25 at the Bonaparte Baptist Church. At Norma's request, her body has been donated to the University of Iowa Anatomy Department, Iowa City.

Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial fund has been established in Norma's name.
