Normal Gene Pfiefer, 55, Fairfield, formerly of rural route Keosauqua, died Monday, Dec. 19, 1983 at 10 a.m., at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Fairfield.
He was born June 6, 1928 at Bonaparte to John William and Lulu Bennett Pfiefer.
He married Mary Lou Keck October 16, 1950.
He was a real estate farm and land broker and a farmer. He was a Navy Ensign in World War II in Korea, a thirty second degree Mason, belonged to Order of Eastern Star, Bonaparte Sargeant-Osweiler American Legion Post, Bonaparte.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou, one son, Michael of Davenport, one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Julia) Bradfield of Fairfield, one brother, W. Scott of Birmingham; one sister, Edna Ruth Kennedy of Phoenix, Ariz., and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Services were Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Bonaparte Presbyterian Church with interment in Bonaparte Cemetery. Hofbauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
