Henry Wolfe Dead

We were unable to secure data for obituary of the above deceased, in time for publication and give the one published by the State Line Democrat of a week ago with additions of our own.

"Mr. Harry Wolfe of Mt. Sterling, who was taken to the Mt. Pleasant asylum for treatment about six weeks or two months ago, died Sunday morning, aged 34 years. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Alford Wolfe of Vernon township. Along last fall it was noticed that his memory was failing, without any apparent cause. His mind kept gradually giving away, until was thought best to taken to the asylum. Here he failed rapidly. His father and uncle went to Mount Pleasant a week or so ago, and found him very bad, but probably were not expecting he would pass away so soon. He leaves a wife, two children, father, mother and sister to mourn his loss. He was a most exemplary, popular and excellent young man, and his untimely death is much regretted. The funeral was held at Story chapel at 2 o'clock yesterday, and the internment was at Thompson cemetery. Rev. C. W. Wilson preached the sermon."

Many from here attended the funeral, as the young man and the entire family were well and favorably known. Chief among the mourners from the city were K. of P. order who, as many as could, attended. The pall bearers were from this order and were: E. C. Smith, Asa Steadman, Elmer Meek, Arthur Umphrey, C. S. Percival and Geo. Meredith.

The sympathy of our community is with the mourners.
