Mrs. William Ewing, age 67, died Saturday at her home east of Mt. Zion. Funeral services were held in the Mt. Zion church on Monday. Burial was in Forbes cemetery. She is survived by her husband and nine children, Ivy and David at home,Mrs.A.E.Jemison and Mrs.O.N. Jemison, and Emmett of Keosauqua,Clarence of Kilbourne, Ben and Martin of Mt. Zion and John of Gilbert,Az. Three children preceded her in death. She has one brother, John Rupe of Memphis,Mo and 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her maiden name was Nancy Rupe. She was born at Mt. Sterling on Dec. 22,1865. She was united in marriage to William J.Ewing on Feb.26,1882.
