Louie B. Parker,79, of Bonaparte died January 23,1992, at Ft. Madison Health Center. He was born Oct. 25,1912, in Van Buren Co to Roy and Bertha Gibbs Parker. He married Bessie Winters on February 14,1935, in Keosauqua. He was in the Civilian Conservation Corps and help build Lacey State Park. He worked construction,several factories and retired from Corry's Machine and T ool in Bonaparte. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Louie Jr. of Ft. Madison Don of Farmington, Ron of Milton,Gary of Bonaparte, and Rick of Rome; three daughters Barbara Troutman, Beverly Medaris, and Carolyn Morris of Bonaparte; 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; a brother Roy of Jacksonville, Fl and four sisters, Leda Cass, Louise Cocherell, and Edna Miller, all of Bonaparte and Esther Spory of Kahoka,Mo. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Ralph; and a sister Gladys Shepherd. The service was held Saturday, January 25,1992 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua. Burial was in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
