Mary Brown Cresap.

Mary Brown, daughter of J. T. Brown, was born near Leando, Iowa, in 1850. In 1869 she married Capt. Hibben of Washington, D. C. and to them was born one son, Omer. In 1874 she married J. T. B. Cresap at Pittsburg, Iow, and to this union were born two daughters, Grace and Theresa.

She died at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, December * [cannot read what was originally printed as date is crossed out and "22nd" written in}, 1904. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church of Eldon on Monday Dec. 26 and the remains were interred in the Eldon cemetery.
