Curtis E.Miller,74, a lifelong resident of Van Buren Co died Tuesday at 6pm at the Van Buren Co. hospital. He had been seriously ill for two weeks. Born near Keosauqua, April 7,1878, he was the son of Jacob and Emma Rupe Miller and had been a farmer all his life. Mr. Miller is survived by his widow Emma Rupe Miller; two sons Eddie Miller of Mt. Sterling and Ernest Miller of Arlington,Ca; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Huffand Mrs. Clarence Witt, both of Keosauqua;five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body is at Burnett-Catcott funeral home where services will be held Saturday at 2pm. Burial will be in Pittsbug cemetery.
