OBITUARY

William Cyrus Price, son of S.W. and Jane Price, was born Oct. 16, 1868, at Milton, Iowa, and died Oct. 30, 1924, at his home 1 1/2 miles east of Milton. Was married to Effie Higdon, Feb. 1, 1888. To this union was born seven children, all of which were present at his death.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his companion, seven children, five grand-children, his aged father, one brother, J.W. Price of Cantril, an adopted sister, Mrs. O.H. Leaverton of Milton and other relatives and friends. He lived all of his life near Milton and counted his friends by the score. He was a member of the church of Christ at Milton, Iowa, and lived a Christian life to the time of his death. The community has lost a good citizen, the family a kind husband and father.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. W.A. Howard, pastor. Burial in Milton cemetery.
