Death at Mt. Sterling

Sunday morning, April 10, occurred the death of Frank Alfrey of consumption at the age of 24 years 7 months and 25 days. Frank has made a trip to Nevada and Colorado within the past two years with the hope of regaining his health but both trips proved futile and he returned home last December without hope of recovery. His funeral occured [sic] from the M. E. Church, Mt. Sterling Monday, April 11, 1904, at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. J. W. Carson. Frank was an upright honorable young man and was born and raised at Mt. Sterling.
