Mrs. John Peterie

Mrs. John Peterie fell dead from heart failure Monday evening while out milking her cow. Dr. Paisley was immediately summoned but on examination showed life extint. [sic] Mr[s]. Peterie was a sister of Lewis Newman and Mrs. S. R. French of his city. She lived with her family of children on the Austin Wells farm across the river. The news of her sudden death was a great shock to her many friends and acquaintance.
