Death of Mr. Coffman.

Mr. A. L. Coffman, who was one of the prominent residents of Chequest’s died Friday aged ?8 years. Mr. Coffman was a member of the 17th Iowa infantry, who was justice of the peace of his township for many years. He was a good man and his loss will be regretted by many friends among whom is the writer. Three sons and too daughters survive him, ?, Elmer, and Grace of Chequest township, Omer of Milton and Mrs. Stanly of Oklahoma. The funeral was held Saturday, the interment being in the Groves cemetery. – Democrat.
