Phyllis Enid Chaplin, 76, of Cantril died June 24, 1989, at Bloomfield Care Center.
She was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Davis County to Raymond L. and Nettie Drake Pinnell. She
I was a homemaker and lived in the Cantril area most of her life. She married Bates Wesley Chaplin in December 1948 in Austin,Minn.; he died May 11, 1967.
She is survived by a son, John and his wife Robin and grandson Justin of Cantril.
The service was held Tuesday, June 27, 1989 at 10:30 a.m. at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
