CORA MAY MEADE

Cora May Meade, eldest daughter of John and Hannah Meade, was born May 5, 1895, died August 15, 1910, age 15 years, 3 mos. and 10 days. She was converted during a revival meeting two years ago and remained faithful to her Savior until Jesus said “Come up higher.” She was ever kind and patient always manifesting an interest in the welfare of others. A tireless worker in the Sunday School near her home, to know her was to lover her. She will be greatly missed in the community; our loss will be her gain.

The funeral was held at the MP. Church, Aug. 17, conducted by Rev. J.A. Worrell, after which the remains were tenderly laid to rest in the new cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
