Otto B Long, son of Otto J and Rosa Brill Long, was born August 7, 1912, near Pittsburg, and departed this life Thursday, December 25th, 1975 at his home on the same farm where he was born.
On June 13, 1931, he married Tilla Scotten in Keosaqua. She remains to cherish his memory along with their son Donald of West Point, their daughter, Mrs Fae Franklin of Pittsburg, 8 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A son, Jack, and a brother Hollis, preceded him in death.
He had been employed at the Barker Products Corporation plant in Keosaqua since the plant was established in 1943. Having served in arious capacities including that of foreman of the galvanizing department for a number of years.
He will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather, a good neighbor and friend.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 1975, at 2 PM at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosaqua, with the Rev Bill Bensheimer officiating. Interment was in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
