HEDRICK - Ida Lou Havelock, 74, of Columbia, Mo., formerly of Hedrick, died Nov. 5, 2002, at University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia, Mo.

She was born Jan. 19, 1928 at Keosauqua to Joseph and Erol Marie Gephart Long. She married Orvil William Pyle, he preceded her in death. She married Donald Havelock, he preceded her in death.

She attended Indian Hills Community College Culinary Arts program and worked as a cook at Oskaloosa County Home before moving to Columbia, Mo. in 1998.

She is survived by two sons, David Joe Pyle of Davenport and Jimmy Sylvester of Calif.; three daughters, Marilyn Willingham of Pearcy, Ark., Marie Powell of Hedrick, and Kathy Christy of Eldon; one brother Jimmy Long of Reynolds, Ill.; several grandchildren; and several great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and son Butch.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. today (Saturday) at Gilbert-Boman Funeral Home, Albia. with Rev. Al Hunt officiating. Burial will be at Hiteman Cemetery.

Visitation was noon to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the family present.
