Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Stephens, 77, of Bonaparte, who died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in Van Buren county Memorial hospital, Keosauqua, were held at 2:00 p.m Sunday, Farmington Baptist church with the Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington.

She was born October 19, 1896, in Farmington, the daughter of William and Rose Wilson Behrens. She married Leon Stevens December 16, 1936, in Farmington; he preceded her in death. She was a resident of Bonaparte for 38 years, and a member of the Baptist church there and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are one brother, D. J. Behrens, Ottumwa, and several nieces and nephews.

Miller-Hofbaurer funeral home, Farmington, was in charge of arrangements.
