Phoebe (Phebe) Ann Lowe Hull was born at Fredericksburg, Ohio, Wayne Couny, May 14, 1850, and passed away from this life on March 24, 1927. She came to Iowa with her parents at the age of 9 years. She was married to George Hull September 26, 1888. They lived in Van Buren County, IA until 1908. They then moved to Davis County on a farm and lived in Davis County until her death. She united with the Presbyterian church in 1883 and has lived a life of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
She leaves her husband, George Hull and one son, Ernest Hull of Bloomfield and one daughter, Mrs. Mark Lemmon of Pulaski, IA and two grandchildren, Richard and Margaret Hull. Thus are briefly noted the short annals of this life. She was a woman of intelligence and appreciative of the consolations of Christ and we believe that she has departed to be with Christ, which is far better.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church at 2:00, conducted by Rev. W. C. Paden. Burial was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
