Nancy Emeline, daughter of William and Amelia Hollembeak, was born at Richfield, IL October 4, 1863 and died June 26, 1950, at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 22 days.
She was united in marriage with George A. Hull of Cantril, May 12, 1892. They resided on a farm, 5 miles east of Cantril, until 1920, when they retired to their home in Cantril. The husband died June 14, 1939.
She gave a mother’s care to a niece, Ruth Hollembeak, who came to the home in 1914. She was a long time member of the Christian church. She was most loyal to her church and its many activities.
Her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Surviving are the adopted daughter, Mrs. Ruth Robertson, and husband and their three sons and families, George A. of Streator, IL, Oneil and Gene of Ottumwa; also other nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, June 26, in charge of the Rev. Lowell Colston of Albia, a former pastor at Cantril. Interment as made beside her husband in the Cantril cemetery.
