Funeral services for Dott Maurine Whitcanack, 49, will be held from the Methodist church in Keosauqua Friday afternoon at 2:00 in charge of the Rev. C. H. Orf.

She passed away at her home one mile west of Keosauqua Wednesday morning, after a few months illness.

She was born near Keosauqua January 24, 1891, a daughter of Clifton Roush and Hattie Drew. On November 26, 1911 she was united in marriage to Harrison Whitcanack, and has resided in the community around Keosauqua her entire life.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Rex and Earl at home; three daughters, Mrs. Everett Wells, Keosauqua, Mrs. Howard Shipley, Cantril and Mrs. Harve Dodds, Stockport. Two children preceded her in death. Also surviving are her brothers: Bates Roush, Kuna, ID; Don Roush, Grandview, Ark; and Glen Roush, Rock Island, IL; sisters: Mrs. James Carruthers, Milton; Mrs. Harry Lane, Muscatine; Mrs. Chas. Allen, Berrysville, MO, and Mrs. Everett Snyder, Rock Island, IL.

Burial will be in Lebanon cemetery.
