John H. Easter - Of Albia and Monroe Co., IA died January 24, 1914. Born Summerfield, PA on October 12, 1845. First located at Bentonsport. Maker of pottery. In May 1874 he married Mary Margaret Wood at Bentonsport. Three sons: Clem; Hugh and Smith. The first two died several years ago. One child, Helen, a daughter of Clem Easter also is left. Five brothers and 2 sisters are left of brother. In 1893 family moved from Bentonsport to Albia.
