Mrs. Lutitia A. Freeman - Born Hamilton Co., OH on June 7, 1831 and died Bentonsport November 25, 1913, age 82 years, 5 months, 18 days. At age 7 moved to Bentonsport. In 1851 Lutitia Freeman married at Keokuk to William Fields. Mr. Fields lived only 2 years. One son, William C. Fields of Sandwich, IL. In 1857 Lutitia Fields married again to Noah G. Brown of Bentonsport. Mr. Brown died August 19, 1903: 4 children: Cora Lutita McDonald of Bentonsport; Harriet Rachel Greef, Los Angeles, CA and Elbert Noah, Baltimore, MD. One child, James, died in infancy. Besides the 4 children, there are 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mrs. Brown is the last of her family of 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
