Mrs. Hannah Jane McCracken Shepherd - Born March 22, 1841 and died June 25, 1910. Married F. O. Shepherd on August 22, 1860. 6 children, four survive: Nora Bales, Portland, OR; Elmer N. of College View, NE; Misses Bertha and Carrie who are at home. Mrs. Shepherd was a gentle, noble Christian mother and an unselfish and kindly neighbor and friend. Joined M.E. church in 1878, then to the Seventh Day Adventists. Buried Bentonsport Cemetery.
